Where is the Peggle Deluxe's savegames folder?
Hi everyone, I have to copy the backup folder from my laptop to the desktop PC, both have Windows 7 operating system, but on the desktop there is the Ultimate version, while the Home version is on the laptop. The problem is I can not find the save folder.
I've seen a little on the internet and I read that you have to go to steam / steamapp / common / peggledeluxe folder and find the savegames folder. I went there, but I did not find any savegames folder. Then I saw another path on C: / ProgramsData / PopCap Games and inside there are the Peggle folder and the popcinfot.dat file.
Is this folder random and this file is the game's bailouts?
Let me know soon, please. Thanks :D

Bit late to this discussion, but for anyone else searching for the save files here is the answer:

For Windows XP they're in
C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\[game]\Users
Windows Vista and 7 they're in
C:\ProgramData\PopCap Games\[game]\userdata
If using Steam (Vista onwards) they're in
C:\ProgramData\Steam\[game]

You might need to turn on hidden folders to see them.

For Mac OS X the folder is
[username]/Library/Application Support/PopCap/[game]

Do you know which file is it? I see multiple folders in it with different names, none stating what each one's purpose is.

"users.dat" = list of the profiles.
"user#.dat" = profile # info.
"stat_######_<numbers>.dat" = more profile stuff.
"highscores.dat" = exactly what it seems.
If you have saved any replays they will be contained in a seperate /replays folder inside /userdata.

If you are just copying saves from one pc to another [or making a backup], then copy the entire /userdata folder & all the files inside.
(Merging profile info from 2 different installations is possible, but a little more tricky.)
