When do I get new party members chapter wise?

So I'm a bit curious when I get all my new party members. So can you guys tell me when I get them chapter wise and what level they start at? (Secret characters as well if you want.) NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

for the secert characters you will get one early into the second half of the game and the other right at the end if certian requriments are met, the other characters will join after certian event flags or dungeons ( sorry for goin by dungeons and event flags, wasnt really sure when another " chapter " started in the game so i cannot give a proper respone by going off of chapters )

Ethel is a automatic recruit during the 2nd half of the game, you can't miss her. =)

The first secret party member can join a few dungeons before Ethel does, but unless its New Game +, it requires too much grinding. As stated earlier, the second secret party member doesn't join until just before the final dungeon, you have to do all of the Lola subevents.

Okay. Got it. Time to start grinding a lot. Fang is like level 13 and Pippin the faboulous is level 15. Also grinding is very hard in this game. So... No. No more grinding.

Well for the first secret character you need to do a few things. First of Fang has to be at lvl 40, second off it's best for you to see every sub-event in town every time you are about to enter/clear a story dungeon. The other one is kind of obvious, and that's just make sure you don't miss a single side Fury Quest Lola gives you info for and you're set there too. The one that's missable would be No. 6 because you kind of get ported to the next dungeon.

First of all there is no "chapters" in this game, but the game is divided by 2 sections, you'll know after you progressed far enough.

First "chapter":

Party member 1Tiara: Automatically recruited as the story progressed (Not sure, I think it's level 2)
Party member 2Harley: Automatically recruited as the story progressed (Not sure, I think it's level 5)
Party member 3Galdo: Automatically recruited as the story progressed (Not sure, I think it's level 7)
Temporary memberSherman : Automatically recruited as the story progressed ( Level 15)
Party member 4Pippin: Automatically recruited as the story progressed ( Level 15)

Second "chapter":
(You lost all of your party member for particular reasons). All old party members will have the same level as before you lost them.

Party member 1Tiara: Automatically recruited again as the story progressed
Party member 2Harley: Automatically recruited again as the story progressed
Party member 3Galdo: Automatically recruited again as the story progressed
Party member 4Pippin: Automatically recruited again as the story progressed
Party member 5Ethel: Automatically recruited again as the story progressed (level 35)

Secret character 1: Apollonius
Fang must be atleast level 40, Bump to a certain person in the bar, Have a specifc item (Emily's Amulet). Will automatically join after he/she's beaten at a boss battle (Level 35)

Secret character 2: Lola
Complete all 16 of Lola's fury sidequests. Automatically join near end game. (Level 48)

It didn't take me too long. I'd say around an hour, with all of the EXP buffing furies. Besides, grinding in this game is extremely fun, which is hard to say for most JRPG's. It's only one reason why I love Fairy Fencer so much.

I might be biased since I also love Apollonius, and made sure to get him for my first playthrough, but grinding in this game is still much more fun than any RPG or even MMO that I've ever known. You always see the fruits of your efforts, whether it be in the form of WP buffs or new combos or new spells, you're ALWAYS getting very attractive and very cool results when you grind in this game.

You can beat the game at lv40, so grinding that high so early trivializes an already easy game. It's supposed to be a NG+ character since you'll pretty much get it automatic at that point.

I was lv20 the first time around... no way was I going to even bother.

Do not grind to get Lv40, you're breaking your (already broken, difficulty-wise) game even more.

Replace Game\Event\SCRIPT\15080\main.cl3 file in the game directory with main.cl3 from 15070 directory instead of the grind and the character will join your team regardless of Fang's level.

The limit doesn't serve any purpose anyway other than artificially increasing play time with mindless button mashing.
Here's to hope the devs will replace this cheap tactics with actual content in upcoming ADF to keep players busy doing fun things.
