Best Fairy/Fury/Fencer Combos?
You know how any Fury you obtain from Godly Revival needs to be permanently associated with a Fairy of the same rank? What's the best combination of Fairies and Furies, as well as the Fencers that would take most advantage of them?

Outside of the fairies with elemental boosts that combine with their respective furies of same affinity, I don't think there's anything else that grants significant cumulative bonuses.

I'd advise against using fairies that have in-battle perks like "Learning" or "Goddess' Blessing" to combine with furies that grant useful world map effects like "Change Enemies".

If you use skills or magic a lot, then get as much Element Support as possible.

Early on it's pretty helpful to have SP Drive/Post Battle just for infinite heals, and later once you can oneshot mobs you can afford that over more damage.

X Prowess is pretty good if you're mostly using physical attacks. Sadly there aren't too many options for this. The Launcher on on Bowa is really good, and only Fang gets Launchers before NG+. Naivy has Glaive Prowess AND the most Water Support of any fairy, so that's perfect for Tiara. Godslayer is the strongest attack in the game, but Sword Prowess is only on a C rank fairy.

But don't feel compelled to use a full combo of a certain weapon type, just because you have the Prowess for it. The Power rating has to be the highest for it to actually be worth it. Stuff like Greatsword, Bow, or Gun Prowess don't help as much as you'd think.

Most A-S rank furies aren't especially useful, so you can swap them around without much issue no matter what you stuck to what. It's the B ranks you have to worry about, since sometimes they even have higher stats than A ranks, and the fury abilities are actually good.

Here's what I use:
Fairy
Fury
Reason
Bowa
Round Guard/Stun Null
Fang Launcher
Grandnarg
SP Cost Down
SP Battery (long fight)
Freya
Post-Battle SP +
SP Battery (quick grind)
Sigurd
Bow Prowess
Ethel
Nelly
Gun Prowess
Harley
Fahn
Angel's Luck+2
8% Exp
Dohn (NG+)
Angel's Luck+2
10% Exp
Vint
Angel's Luck
18% Exp
Light
Axe Prowess
20% Exp, Max Light,Lola
Dohn
Greatsword Prowess
Max Dark,Appolonius
Nyx
Fire Support
Max Fire
Naivy
Water Support
Max Water
Vervain
Wind Support
Max Wind (see: Wesley)
Roh
Earth Support
Max Earth
Raijin
Lightning Support+2
Max Lightning

if you have the DLC:
Stella Stella
20% Exp
Charlotte
20% Exp, Max Wind
Mia
15% Exp
Irving
Max Ice + Bow

And of course, the two S Rank furies also give 20% exp

I think that's about it as far as real choices are involved. Adrenaline Rush might be okay to slap on something. I really don't think any of the other C ranks are worth using (maybe Kirin for early-game Combo Punch, might be too weak for late-game), and DLC can't have furies.

After doing some testing, it seems like Element Support abilities grant +2% damage per + (so Fire Support+5 is +10% damage with Fire skills/magic). They stack additively, so if you've got Water Support+1+2+3, altogether it's like having Water+6 for +12% damage.

Weapon Prowess skills give about +15% damage, and yes this means Kirin does +30% damage with Knuckles. War Blade Soul looks like +15% for Axe/Glaive/Spear, as well.

P-ATK Damage and M-ATK Damage didn't seem to do anything at all...? I tried normal combos, skills, and magic attacks but I did pretty much the exact same damage as without any fairy equipped.

Also what's interesting is skills and magic attacks do count as weapon types. Fang's Eruption Edge counts as a Greatsword attack (it does mention that in the description) so you get the full 15% bonus from Greatsword Prowess.

The best part? Tiara's Maelstrom is Glaive magic. So Naivy with the +1 fury can boost that up to +27%. Rita also gives a modest +15%, so that's the best option if you wanted SP conservation at the same time.

For reference:
SP Cost Down
5%
SP Cost Down 2
7%
SP Cost Down 3
9%
SP Cost Down 4
12%
SP Cost Down 5
15%
Conserve SP +
10% (~5% chance)
Conserve SP +2
10% (~15% chance)
SP/HP Drive +2
3%
SP/HP Drive +3
5%
SP/HP Drive +4
8%
SP/HP Drive +5
10%
Post-Battle SP/HP +
15%
Post-Battle SP/HP +2
30%
Post-Battle SP/HP +3
40%
Post-Battle SP/HP +4/5
50%
Stacking something like SP Cost Down with +3 becomes 14% (5%+9%), so it's actually more than +4 (12%).

And yeah, Post-Battle HP+4 and +5 heal the exact same amount for some reason.
make a guide :)
