game doesnt start after unity splash screen

i run the game, get the unity screen and then the screen goes black. Tried waiting for a while but it didnt work also checked the integrity of the game files.

Yep! There used to be a resolution bug, but we got that sorted

Have you tried restarting like the user above?

Restarted the game multiple times.
Uninstalled and re installed and started multiple times.
Restarted computer and started the game multiple times.

I assume this is the Steam version?

Yes, steam version.
Issue was missing windows media pack.
Worked fine after installing that.

I am encountering the same issue.
I tried restart/reinstall, starting from local files, updating graphicscard, reinstalling windows media pack.

Does anyone have any ideas what else i could try?

Like a few other games using the Unity engine, I discovered that Unity can (not always strangely enough) have issues with the path used to install the games concerned because of folders using non conventional characters in their name (like #).

I tried it out and indeed it was acting up the same way as above, passing the "special thanks to: (whoever is cited)❤" >>> black screen with music and nothing else.

So until the devs find a way to fix this (again, not ALL Unity games have this issue), people can use this little workaround in the meantime.
