Completed the game but....

Missing 2 achievements. The bear event didn't pop up and Oboro is still missing. How do i encounter these two?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. I also didn't have the money achievement pop up.

How did you fight oboro? And the bear? Cant find them anywhere on the map

look at the oboro glitch thread. bear didnt appeared yet for me. Any tips for the Special Event The Car? Cant figure out how he jumps.

I finished it by accident, can't help you with that.

For the car, immediately start moving your joystick back and forth. The meter actually starts before your guy starts running. At the very end, if your meter is full, you'll have a prompt to push the A button. Basically have one hand moving the joystick as fast as you can, and as you approach the end start mashing the A button. If you get the meter high enough, you'll jump over the car.

Also, I didn't realize that Oboro was the 2nd guy you fight at the end of the kumite. I've already beaten him, but no achievement.

I don't know anymore, seems like we need a patch for both Oboro and the bear. Won the kumite over 20 times already but he simply doesn't appear. Same for the bear, only thing that's left is to buy a dojo and end the game and no special bear event.

Hmm, i had the meter at full speed but there didnt appeared a message for the A Button. Tryd it 30 times or so. For sure i also pressed A or the move combo for a jump kick, nothing.

Update i think i finished it by accident too. No A appeared but i just pressed it in front of car with nearly full spead and it worked after several trys.

I got the oboro achievment but no bear event. Did the Bull Event five times and won every tournament ten times, so, this dont help people ;)

I've figured out Oboro.
The Kumite Oboro DOES NOT COUNT towards the achievement. There's only one way to get the Hanma Yuuj-I mean Oboro achievement:

1. Get 90 fame
2. Challenge Matsu, he says go fight Jirou in the tournament.
3. Beat Jirou in the super Budokan tournament. YOU MUST DO THIS ON THE FIRST TRY.
4. A cutscene with Oboro will play
5. Challenge Matsu and beat him. AGAIN, YOU MUST DO THIS ON THE FIRST TRY
6. When you go to train, your master will say Kate has been kidnapped
7. Beach cutscene, fight and beat Oboro. AGAIN, YOU MUST DO THIS ON THE FIRST TRY
8. Achievement is yours

If you lose any of the fights, reload an earlier save.

I have done all this on the first try but the cutscene with oboro and the kidnapping scene never prompted for me. Not going to replay all that for a try on a chance of unlocking.

Thanks for the help though but i don't have earlier saves, i just used one save slot. I'll wait for a patch or find another means of unlocking it.

Yeah it sucks, I restarted my game just to get it. Also, I still don't know how to get the bear event

I think the bear event is bugged or they forgot to include it as nobody has it unlocked yet while there are people who have the oboro achievement.

Probably, a lot of the achievements seem bugged. I upgraded my Tai Kitae to 9 and got the "Ki Master" achievement instead of "Deadly Strikes". Only after I had upgraded all stats to 9 did I get Deadly Strikes
