Level restart after failure
This is a suggestion to the devs:
When you fail a level, the game takes you to a screen with only one choice, you press return and you have no choice but to go back to the map screen. If you want to restart the level, after selecting it in the map screen the loading times are as long as always (several seconds). For a game where you will restart lots and LOTS of times in the more difficult levels, that's really tedious.

On the other hand, if during a level you decide to restart, you press Escape (Pause screen) and from there select Restart, and you restart the level immediately. That is alot quicker because there is no loading.

So it would be more convenient after you fail a level, that you are presented with a choice to go to the map or to restart the level directly without going back to map and loading, similar to the Pause screen.

Oh yes, I remember thinking about this. It's only a matter of seconds after all but, yeah, I restarted before the detective caught me rather than let the game over screen show up.

+1

But I do like the little game over screen, with it's jingle. Can the "game over" screen still play while you're still loaded in the level perhaps? Along with the option to go to the menu or retry.

agree with this post.
Please add restart button at failure screen so we can skip the loading.
Thanks
