Where are the help files/hints? I've forgotten what matchsticks and other items do!

This'll be surprising to find a notice about a reply from a thread you posted years ago (and for that, I am sorry).

However, for anyone curious - the matchstick is only useful if you have the rocket blueprint found and purchased. Once you collect a matchstick on a level it happens to be in, you'll instantly ride a rocket for a few seconds (the rocket speeds you up significantly and you can plow through most enemies on-screen and knock them off the map, aside from the constable bear).
