IAPs - There are currently no plans to add this at this point in time, due to the difficulty and time needed to implement them. There are potential workarounds for this, as Danny has already mentioned, but it requires you to implement your own system.
Leaderboards/Scoreboards - Are more than possible. A tutorial is available here[engine001.com] that explains how to set one up.
Plugins - There is currently no way to add/implement social plugins or any other plugins at this point in time.

Shell Access
This allows Subscribers to launch files and applications on the users computer through the game. For example; you may want the user to be able to go to your web site to check for updates or get the latest news about your game so you could place a button somewhere in your game that then uses the 'Execute Shell Command' event to launch the users default web browser and navigate to your web site. You could also do similar things for displaying documentation. For example; you could open Notepad and then open a text file into it that has your games documentation, etc. This is a very powerful feature and due to its nature, if you upload a game to the 001 Web Site with this event it will be automatically disabled.

Could this not be used for third pary SDKs, APIs and such. The idea would be to create a seperate stand alone program which would access these third party features. How much would the game be able to communicate with the programs launched through the Shell (for example to know when a digital good has been purchased)? Are there any restrictions? Where can I find detailed information about how to use the Execute Shell Command? What about the various app stores? Would they allow this to be used in apps distributed through them?
Or is another method being developed to allow us to access third party SDKs and APIs?
Thanks.
You guys should definitely include those features so people that want to create games for android/iOS are more confident about buying GG Maker.
Leaderboards ARE possible since i have one in my current game and theres a tutorial here that i wrote myself http://engine001.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27946&p=384208&hilit=leaderboard+tutorial#p384208
The leaderboard was not made my me it was made for me but the tutorial is mine.
Don't give up 001/GG Maker is always expanding! Happy Game Making :D
Exactly this.
Our small Indie company has already made games and are published through Google Play, expanding into Windows Phones and iOS. We use Admob and Adblitz to monetize our free games. GameMaker Studio gave us that ability.
I was pretty hyped on GG Maker, since I am the UI/graphics' guy, I can do some of the projects primarily from my angle, then have my programmer partner look at it later. However, with what the dev said above, I am pretty much turned off from purchasing this for commercial development.
In other words, this seems to be a Catch 22. Dev says, "Worry about making a game first, before we implement any of those functions. Then we will decide to do it later." Well, how would people make a commercial viable game with a tool that doesn't offer what developers want?
So until GGM offers a means to implement ads and IAP, I will have to continue to learn GMS and Unity.
Ads - AdMob support is currently on the table. Unfortunately Google doesn't make it easy to implement but there might be a way to get around the difficulty and add this much-requested functionality.
