RMVX Tileset Import
Could someone create a Guide on how to import a RMVX Tileset into GG Maker? I have purchased several RMVX tilesets that can be used with Non-RM engines and would like to see if there is an easier way to import a tileset than to just go tile by tile. I'm hoping that there is an option to import a tileset that recognizes auto-tiles and animations; or at least has the option of easily defining them.

Thanks.

I read those before I posted. However, the wiki article mentions: "001 allows RPG Maker VX Tile-Sets and Sprite Sheets to be directly imported. Please note that some of them require the file name to end with the proper '_A1.png', etc. in order for 001 to properly recognise them."

Why would that article mention requiring a specific file naming convention, if you have to manually import the tiles one by one anyway? How is that different than any other tileset? That paragraph makes it sound like the import is automated. Thanks.

Yep, as noted in the wiki page, only certain files named a certain way can be imported properly in the resource importer.

The fact it doesn't show in the browse feature is a bug - noted and should be fixed in a coming version :).

Ok. Thanks. I'm glad that will be fixed.

Last i heard, you're not allowed to have graphics from the other maker engines in this software.
Or did someone lie?

As I stated in my original post, I have purchased the Non-RM (Non-RPG Maker) license when I bought my tilesets. This allows you to use those graphics outside of RM. Thus, I can use those tilesets (and only those tilesets) in GG Maker or any other engine. There is no Non-RM licence for RPG Maker's RTP graphics and they can never be used outside of RM. Nor can any graphics that use RTP graphics as its base.
