I have to admit, my first time playing left me with a serious case of the creeps. The atmosphere is unsettling in all the right ways—but oddly enough, I couldn’t look away. What began as a strange little escape room quickly unraveled into a layered, interconnected story that spans across all their games.

Each title is like a single puzzle piece, and the more you play, the clearer the bigger picture becomes. The narrative web they've built is intricate, clever, and so worth exploring.

Whenever someone asks me for puzzle game recommendations, I can’t help but point them here. Just… be ready for a bit of a mind-bend. You’re in for a ride.

It's free Rusty Lake. You don't need me to tell you if this is worth your time. If you've gotten this far then you're already in too deep. If you for some reason haven't played any Rusty Lake games then go start from the start.

This is a very cute celebration of the work that's been done over 10 years. While the puzzles are mostly simple there's still some Rusty Lake charm and a little effort to find all the secret playing cards. As long as you keep making more I'll keep playing them.

As a longtime fan of the Rusty Lake universe, I was genuinely moved by the heartfelt gift the studio prepared in honor of the series' tenth anniversary. The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show is not just a short game — it's more like an interactive thank-you letter to all the fans who have followed the development of this unique franchise over the years.
From the very first moments, the signature Rusty Lake atmosphere is palpable: the visual style, the music, the subtle yet deeply unsettling animations — everything is exactly as it should be. It was especially touching to see familiar characters again, each one stirring memories of past entries. It felt like reuniting with old friends you haven’t seen in years.

I can recommend it - this is free game with some pretty good riddles.
You need to solve all the riddles in order to get 100% achievements, and each achievement is one hidden playing card {jacks, queens, kings, aces of four suits and 2 jokers}.

Despite i have never played in any game of this universe {so I'm not familiar with any references in it, but it wasn't crucial to completing the game on 100%}, it was good.
I can't say i like the style/setting - that's why i've never played RustyLake games before - it's too surreal/too weird for my taste. I prefer more peaceful/relaxing style in point'n'click games... :) But it was definitely nice to play for a change.

Music/sounds are ok. Voices are good.
Graphics is simple, but good. Visual style: i believe, as in most of RustyLake games... Kinda strange... :)
No bugs occur.
Controls: just your mouse - left clicks or drag. Well, probably also the "Esc" button for faster exit.
You are moving between the locations by pressing arrows {with your mouse} on the sides of your screen.

It's nice that the developers bothered so much with the details. And released essentially a full-fledged game {for an hour-two, or even more in my case} in honor of the anniversary of RustyLake universe.

At first the game seems too dumb and simple, but then it opens up and starts to be a bit challenging {=interesting}. I think that finding all the cards is pretty hard. The developers left some clues for them, and that was nice {also i'm glad that i managed to solve the riddles for both "joker" cards by myself}. However one of the riddles is too hard to notice imho. I hate to do this, but i picked 1 thing in some guide... And i definitely think that the clue for this card {"Jack of Hearts - Mr. Boar"} should be clearer.

When you'll find all the cards, you'll get the chance to take part in some random lottery {with delivery of a small prize merch to your address} if you send your data to the company. But this is temporary event of course.


In total: if you a fan of point'n'click genre, then this game is definitely worth to give it a shot while it's free.

Best part is when Mr Rabbit jumps out of the hat and yells "It's Rusty Lakin' time!" and blasts everyone's cake with dual tommy guns in slow motion.

A short but great little freebie, with tons of references to past games. Yes, I looked a few solutions up!

Has it really been ten years already? Happy birthday, Rusty Lake, and may you keep being weird for at least ten more years.

This is a lovely tribute to the game's player base, full of absurd and spooky references to other games in the franchise, so if you are a fan it's definitely a good time. That being said, I don't know that it would be my first recommendation for someone new to this dev team's games. For my money, the early Rusty Lake games (Rusty Lake Hotel, Roots, or Paradise) are still the best entry point to this weird...franchise? universe? fever dream? since they're probably the most self-contained narrative-wise but they already have the creepy atmosphere down pat. If you REALLY don't want to spend any money, Samsara Room is free and could also be a good first game to try out. It's pretty easy to tell if you're going to enjoy these games' mix of point and click puzzles and eerie storytelling, and if you enjoy it, well, you have ten years worth of backlog to go through.

Happy 10th birthday Rusty Lake and here's to many more decades of hauntingly eerie and beautiful narratives! This game in its essence was a love letter to all the games before it. Everything that they do is a labor of love and it was even more obvious in this game especially. I am glad to see that in this game (and in the short film they released along side of it called The Intern) they also love the game series as much as I do. I am very glad to have played this game on their 10th birthday and I am now eagerly awaiting the next installment!
