Bookworm Adventures Deluxe

Bookworm Adventures Deluxe

Seriously, does ANYONE know what happened to this game?
This game was part of my childhood. It was the rural early 2000s version of a LAN party for kids, when all the second-graders would gather in the library, download a free copy of BWA, and challenge each other to see who could get farther in one period. I miss those days, and I was lucky enough to pick up the first one a few months before the game vanished. Not only would I like the second one, but there's another reason for it too:

I know someone who wanted to use this as an alternative learning tool for kids with Asperger's/autism. My disc copy is lost to the ages, and I certainly can't share my steam library with an entire learning institution..

Please help. The game and its variants aren't available through any means, not through Origin, Steam or even the website.

I have no idea. It's really weird. :/ It's a great game, Idk why Popcap removed it.

I have been searching for an answer as to why this game disappeared from virtual shelves but it's a well-kept secret. As of right now, you can still purchase it on Amazon as part of a collection of Popcap games for $15.

Thanks for the tip about Amazon! I'll give it a shot. This is super weird, though...

I know this doesn't sound like a great option but you can always pirate it.

I mean, the company is now a subsidiary of EA, and the game is otherwise impossible to obtain... so take your pick. There is no legal channel to obtain the game, and EA refuses to allow it. So I say go hog wild.
