I don't know what I did or what I clicked. Occasionally the floor tiles simply become unclickable for no reason at all!???? It happened outside combat during exploration, my characters all of sudden stuck in place, and mouse click on the floor become unresponsive.
This bug happening so often it's frustrating!!! I had to reload my previous savegame.
I came here searching to see who else is having the problem and it seems very widespread with no fix whatsoever. Really, really regretting supporting this idiot developer. Old technology, limited gameplay, basically just a graphic novel, and still the game is so buggy its utterly unplayable. Before the game went past the point of no return I had many battles ruined by hanging during the enemy turn. It happened so often I almost quit the game.
Well, this is the last time I support these fools. For sure.
I'm unable to move after I go below deck. I think this must be the end of the game for me, thanks to game-breaking bugs. I couldn't find any workarounds, and none of the workarounds for this issue in older games will work in Shadowrun Hong Kong.
Description:
After encountering a broken dialogue in the Shadowrun Unlimited Mod I was not able to click any tiles at all. I was still able to click the "icons" appearing on the map and accessing the menu as well. Transitioning from map to map worked, but I was not able to click on tiles on the new map. Loading different save states for that character, rewinds and restarting the program did all not work.
Solution:
I did two things:
1) Verify integrity of game files via Steam. (probably useless, because it said integrity was fine)
2) Start a game with a new character from the Main Menu. After that I was able to load my old save and continue normally. Maybe you have to save the game for that character, but I cannot verify that anymore.
I know this is quite a thread necro, but since I am still playing this maybe someone else is too. ^^
