Duncan's equipment is gone

Like the title says, all of Duncan's equipment is gone. I'm still very early in the game. I just got done talking to the lady about getting our SIN's removed after escaping from the cops. And everything he had (weapons, med kits, grenades ect) are gone. Is this going to be a regular thing with my companions? Or just a one time thing?

Hah, I know the OP's post is old but I just started the game (August 2019) and have exactly the same thing: After talk about getting SIN's removed and little "cut-scene" with Duncan about the past, all Duncan's stuff is gone (including his glasses).

The glasses thing isn't a bug, although would it had some comedy to this bug.

Sadly there's still a handful of bugs in the game. So far I've had two quest bugs that required restarts.

Just bought the game, played 2 hours, Duncan's equipment is gone.

From what i read this bug is there since release, so for 5 years.

Again Paradox managed it to disappoint me...
