Localization, unfortunately, proved cost-inefficient in the first campaign so localization was not planned for HK. However, the Steam workshop hooks "should" provide people with the tools to work on their own localization projects and make it available.

I know it sucks for some folks.. but it is what it is. People want to complain that it shouldn't cost that much or should be easy to do. Well.. it isn't. I know of some folks that attempted some localization in DFDC and they abandoned it not due to technical difficulties.. but because of the manpower and the sheer amounts of dialogues to convert to make it happen.

Again only english ... Sorry, no translation, no purchase ...

Hate to burst your bubble.. but no one cares. you probably won't be missed. Ultimately, it's your loss. The rest of us will be running the shadows. I love Japanese anime. I learned some Japanese and/or waited for fansubs rather than passive-aggressively sulking in the corner because it wasn't in English/French. The game is made by a US-based country. It's not a AAA title. They chose to stick with English only for various reasons. If it's not in your native tongue, that sucks.. but there's alot of titles out there that primarily only support English. Tell someone in your country to make their own version of the game, in their own language then, if it bothers you that much.

Maybe someone will do a German and Cyrillic like they did for Mount and Blade: Viking Conquest and other games in Work Shop. I hope you guys do get to play it.

Harsh. But I suppose they are correct. It is your loss if you going to forego the game(s) because it's not in your language. Best of luck to you wherever the road takes you tho. :dragonskull: and whatever you do... never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon.

Exactly, who are you to demand localization for a game? In a game hub before pre-ordering a game that's not in your native language? Go away, possible customer and take your money with you, no one cares about you.

Makes totally sense. :rfacepalm:

They better support 'Murican

Sad position of some with regard to language, there is nothing like playing in the native language and many titles indie are translated into multiple languages, I think it is no excuse to talk about the costs for translate because Spanish speakers, and other, also have money to pay for a copy of the game. This time I will pass it, sadly ... And as some people say an aggressive way "take your money and get out"

Costs for localization is a valid point, i don't even think it's a big problem if the game is English only as long as it's possible to do a external translation but like with Dragonfall DC, it doesn't look like they get managed to offer proper and working localization tools for those two games, i haven't seen a localization for DC yet and it has Workshop too and i doubt HK will get it.

The frontpage banner showed 2,99€ for all three games, a steal deal i said to myself and then i realized i got trolled hard when clicking on it. DafuQ?

Steam was promoting the lowest priced game of the three. That price wasn't for all three. And yes, that's a fraggin dumb way for Steam to do it. ^_^
