i have dragonfall and enjoy it !i buy it before translation .... i buy the next one too but they decide to stop to translate the game cause it cost too much .....

it is very sad cause i know tons of people ready to buy w<hen in promo etc ... if it is in french ...

And when "it costs to much" that probably allready has all the revenue made by the according buyers (ppl running the game in french - i bet that's a metric they can check) substracted.

EDIT:
I'm no native english speaker either but I haven't played a single PC game in a different language than english for years now - especially on the internet. Games are a fun way to learn a language IMO.

Je t'avoue que pour ma part je n'ai pas eu de problème de compréhension de l'histoire, et un truc qui m'a fait chier c'est de ne pas pouvoir utiliser la langue française avec la campagne de Dead man switch avec Dragonfall...

Je me demande si il y a un projet de traduction de Dragonfall???

expensive translation? what? Are you really saying that the poor spanish translation of shadowrun returns was expensive??? seriously??? Because I'm spanish and that translation really SUCKS! It was shoddy and with a lot of words taken out of context, I bought shadowrun dragonfall but hong kong for you! I dont wanna buy other game more, because the game is fun but I'm not good enough in english to enjoy the full experience...

Yes, that is exactly what they were saying. They tried to provide a decent localization with the budget they had available and didn't really succeed. Getting a professional translation effort done would cost more money than it would get them in additional sales. Hell, getting it done as cheap as possible with no regards for quality would still probably fail to break even. Simple maths at work.
