REALLY struggling with lab 12. Any advice at all would be great
Heyo, I'll cut right to the chase: I hate netrunning. I find it extremely annoying to have to do a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth thing that doesn't work, it's boring normal combat that ALWAYS misses when you attack, I have pretty bad memory issues/brain damage so I *cannot* do the simon says sections.

So, as you can imagine, given this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid mission requires you to not only do net running, but do it in a VERY limited time, I feel kind of completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Any advice on what to do? I won't lie, I cheated and turned on god mode, but that seems to break the game once you get out of the system. So I don't know wtf to do. I really wish I could have skipped it.

Care to elaborate a bit with what exactly is difficult? I play a Shotgun toting mage and also have great disdain for netrunning so I might be able to help. Last time I did that mission I was tanked but with the netrunning you want to have your aim buffed at all times and use your summons as a general rule. I most often brute force the locks and lower the alert state as needed because decking is for ultra nerds.

Its alright, I figured it out through cheats. But I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me who didn't like it at all :v I brute forced locks too but couldn't use the lower the alert because of the long-ass cooldown

Good work! I sometimes resort to the console during the net segments just because it saves time. Netrunning hasn't been fun since the Sega version imo, at risk of random people wanting to fight me for having the wrong opinion. My age is showing.

God, I couldn't agree more. Well, I never played the sega version, but I've never been a fan of it in these games :v

That's kinda cool you played it though!

Sega version is available via emulator. Is how i played it on PC a decade, two or three ago:)

Also...lol. So i did not spend all my karma. I started with a deck. No weapons no nothing to use in the first fight. LOL.
So apparantly if i do not select any ranged or melee weapon skills or drones i get no weapon. Just the deck.
If i start with deck 4 and spell casting 3 i get 2 spells and no deck.
:(

The game picks your "main" weapon skill based on your ranks. Effectively bringing a cellphone to a gunfight might seem silly to some but I'm assuming you have a plan, being the hero and all.
