Prosperity Tower - Matrix Alarm (Spoilers)

Okay, sorry to have to ask this, but i've been beating my head against this problem for a couple of hours now. I'm stuck in Prosperity Tower, I know what to do but the problem is pulling it off. I know how to get the second code for the labs, released the monster from confinement and spoke to the ork to draw out the security team. Question though, how the hell do you cut the Matrix alarm? There seems to be no way to switch it off once you start fighting the security team, despite the countdown.

Go into the security room and hack the terminal in there.

Sounds like the game might have bugged out. The best way to do that level (I found) is to release the monster into the lab, that way the sercurity rush out of the office into the lab and leave the door open and office unattended. It means you can't get the spels or the codes for the Blockers from the Mage (without a fight), but I don't find the blockers all that difficult.

Well, that's the thing. I am hacking the terminal, but there's nothing in the matrix to switch it off. I've gone back and forth several times now trying to find anything, and there's nothing to interact in there to swtich it off.

I have the same kind of problem on the sales floor, if i dont give the data to the VP, I have 3 turns to cut the alarm in the matrix ( says "alarm window 3" and "cut the alarm in the security matrix ) , but cant find where/which terminal to use, any ideas ? anyone could do it ? i need those 2500 nuyen, and it seems theres nothing on this floor to cut the alarm.

Get into matrix in security room and enter the portal with yellow mark

On the Sales floor, it's in what I'd describe as the west/southwest corner, Neofutur. It's the only corner of the main room that appears not to have a room attached. The wall runs virtually horizontal, so it's hard to pick the door out. Use ALT to highlight the keypad instead.

Unfortunately I can't be much help with the rest. I bruteforced the levels, I never had the social to get past the checkpoints. I ended up forcing my way in and getting my Decker (main character) to the terminal in the nick of time on two out of the three floors.

Funnily enough, the Sales floor is the only one I did relatively quietly, because I purposefully went loud right outside the security room.

What do you mean it's not easy to spot? There's a yellow diamond indicating that's where you're supposed to go and the white diamond indicator for a door and a magnifying glass for the sign.

OK so, WHERE is the alarm switchoff in the Matrix (on either the Sales or Thaumaturgical floor?) my charisma and ettiquettes have gotten me as far as I can get, I can get into the security rooms and hack the matrix, but no matter which way I go, I don't find anything except the optional node hacks and the data stores for those floors, no alarm disable switch. I can SEE it off in the distance on platforms way away, but have no idea how to reach them.

You need to access the security room, like on the first map, you need a keycard to get in. You can finesse entry with trickery, or you can just start a fight, kill the guards and get the keycard and hopefully shut off the alarms before everything blows up in your face. In both cases the security room door is "hidden" by the angle of the walls on the far side of the map.

I've done that. I cannot reach wherever in the Matrix you're supposed to go to switch off the Alarm, I can see it off in the distance (the orange marker) but I can't reach it, no matter which way I go.

It should just be the matrix terminal in the security office, unless you have some sort of bug. I managed to do the entire level without triggering an alarm, so I can't really offer any more insights. Sorry.

No, once you get INTO the Matrix, you're supposed to go find a certain archway (as best I can tell) and go there to disable the alarm..or something, but it's in a totally different system. I can see it in the distance, but can't reach it. I've updated to the beta, and re-ran the mission, and no go, basically there's no where to go to disable the alarm, 3 turns pass, then it goes into infinite hell. There's no way I can pass the check because I'm 2 Karma short of Charisma 7 (I think that's ridiculous for that anyway). Plus I don't have Academics and am not a spell caster, and the same thing happens on the other floor.
