Stuck in Ares Mission (spoiler)

I have the keycard from the from the other shadowrunners, I see the safe in the lab with the big yellow triangle, but I can't interact with it at all.

I've already killed all the baddies on the level, and stopped the gas. But I can't advance.

Odd They never gave me a key when I talked to them. I'm frustated tired and been trying to find the key for about half an hour.

I also can never get the key from them. Is there a solution to this?

Same here in a previous game they have offered to sell me it but in this one they didn't.

Well you are talking about that safe in the middle of the lab right? The only way to get the key for it is to start an encounter where you fight the security guards in that glass room. Then you go into the lab in the back and meet 4 fellow shadow runners who just happen to have the key for that safe. For the code to break into the safe? I've never figured that out.

Hey OP! So I've reloaded this mission to see if I can help you and here are my findings:
1) I've encountered your error when I've forced myself through mission alerting the guards. I did that by failing to hack the matrix properly. Mission won't finish.

2) I've managed to finish this mission again when I didn't trigger the alarm in this mission. Seems the bug is related to the approach you choose. Go stealth and you should be fine. Hope that helps!

The mission items don't update properly in this mission. It was trivial for me to make a new save state before interacting with anything new. It can take several tries before mission iterms register as completed.

Since i have made a in strength approach , with only use of matrix for poisoned vent , and killing
every encounter asap ( since enter desk i have ignored the warning of the men ).
That way have lead to have the buy ( get ) key option when envoutering other shadow runners so
i have be abble to finish it.

did you pick up the prototype laser, or something marked as a primary objective on the floor, near where you met that other team? The new team gives you a keycard but you still have to pick that other thing up.

if you're doing racters thing, there's a safe in the central room that i think gets opened by following a chain of emails from the centre room, taylors office to hardigams, then the safe.

When I did the mission, I didn't have a problem. Got code from the computer in middle room, used shutters to block out those guards, hacked computer to get rest.

I also used the worm on the ground floor before all this.

I dont know about you folks but ractor makes a comment and the key is mine, no charisma check or nuyen needed, seems to happen automaticaly too when chatting with them. I am very nice to them though so maybe thats the difference?

I had ractor in all try since there and it didn't have bring the garantee of get the key ...

I was nice, Racter made his comment, but without 500$ or char 3 (Troll here) I didn t get the key. At least the game could tell me that Im screwed after the fight.

For future historians: this was probably the last message before the bugfix in 3.0.5.
I just hope it works now.
