Oh, absolutely. There are also a few dialogue tree cases that seem jarring when the opposite is true (really? I lack the "intelligence" to tell Is0bel and whatsisname on the Deckcon run that their argument probably started as a dumb misunderstanding?)
Eiger was the contrary of what a soldier was supposed to be? She complains a lot especially on the beginning of the game.
Also if there's something soldiers have universally done since the profession arose it's *complain*; seems to be more or less part of the job description...
Of course he IS available, but for legbreaking and feats of Beanbaggery.
I dont know the gender of OP but thats none of my business
I liked Glory and Eiger very much, and I agree Duncan is a very attractive character. He has the looks and demeaning of a baddass but with some vulnerability, anger issues and a cool "Law-abiding but realistic" attitide. I think his flaws make him more human ( or ork o.O) and an more interesting character.
...Because I'm gay and he's just my type.
But I find him very likeable too, personality-wise. I didn't think he was that whiny, he's got some really rough deals to work through. Lost his career, his partner, his past, and had everything he knew and believed turned upside down. In a crazy world like Shadowrun's, he seems like the last sane man alive.
I don't know why Gobbet and Is0bel don't get more credit though. I like them a lot, and they are quite attractive as well. Heck, even Racter has something going for him with his cocky smile and '90s badassery, what with him smoking on the portrait.
Even Dietrich had some je-ne-sais-quoi with that sagely, defiant grin and stern gaze of his. And Eiger was actually my favorite from Dragonfall; just loved her entire look and attitude.
Damn, the more I think about it... the more I realize that these Shadowrun games give you very attractive team mates.
Yeah, I loved this quote. Not to be mean here, merely educational, but being ex-military myself I can tell you, hands down, 100%, that right after fighting, taking orders, and maintaining equipment, a soldier's favorite activity is complaining.
