Shaman totem *SOLVED*
So I spent the 6 karma to go ahead and pick a totem. I chose Leapord, but I noticed it never showed up in my spells list, nor did the extra spell slot from rank 2 of summoning. I have searched other threads about this and others that have had problems are problems of it disappearing after they have already had it. My problem is it isnt even showing upon getting the ability. I tried it again with fish totem, as well as another totem. Still no dice.

Does anyone know what the cause of this may be? Just find it odd it never even appears in the first place, as well as the additional spell slot.

I know, there is a bugs section to post in. I made one, waited a few days, and did not get any replies.

interestingly enough, the lack of a spell unlock is probably less of a bug and more of a UI thing.

Summoning has never given spell slots.

Also the totem doesn't show up on your spell list in your inventory. You'll see it during combat though if you click on your spell book.

Weird, the 2nd point in summoning right before the third one that unlocks the choice of a totem says unlocks a slot, if not already unlocked. Perhaps its a typo, or maybe I am mistaken.

So does it show up during combat even if it is a passive totem? I checked when I picked Leopard and it did not give me the additional armor, but I think I can contribute that to the weird bug that also happens with armor, where it doesnt show the updated armor until you end the mission.

Like I said...UI issue. summoning has never done that, but it's always claimed to. Makes sense that it doesn't really. Summoning has nothing to do with spells. Also, yes the passive totem is visable during combat.

Okay cool, thanks man I do appreciate it! Also, I agree, it did not make logical sense for it to give additional spell slots as fetishes take up item slots.

Thanks again.

I wish passive totem wasn't visible. Like, why? It just clogs up the UI. Just put it on the character sheet somewhere I say.

I would concur with this. The UI can be a bit clunky at times, but ive seen worse.
