I hadn't even recruited Gaichu until after that mission, but I still had Ku Feng join me in Walled City.
For obvisious reasons I had Gaichu not in that mission, still he did became the trainer of Ku Feng and she joined me in the walled city, though she bailed out right before we met the queen. Did not feel ready for it.
She claims to have come to slay a demon king but she simply couldn't stand to watch the suffering any longer. She's the queen of Repulse Bay, where the biggest threat to her safety is a jealous trophy wife. She's not cut out for a fight like this.
It's important to know what Repulse Bay is. It's basically the equivalant of Beverley Hills in HK. That's an important detail that should have been made clear in order to gain an understanding of Ku Feng's character.
