Ideal Mission Order?
Just wondering if anyone has an ideal mission order? Or does that even matter? I'm just curious if mission order/sequence plays any role in content (ie. if I do mission X before mission Y, it causes mission Z to disappear type thing).

Well... One mission gives a potential party member, which probably makes it a good first choice as far as these things go. You may or may not even feel like using them, though.

Aside from that, I don't think order generally matters. There might be some reward or item available from a mission that you'd personally want for your character, which would make it nice to do early in, but I don't think any sort of progression actually changes.

Skill check difficulty seems to scale a bit depending on how many missions you've cleared, but most of them can be kept up with by relevant party members.

I've always done the Whampoan mission first, since you can complete it without combat, and gain another runner, plus get 10 Karma. Between surviving the docks, giving Bao the message, and this run, you could have up to 29 Karma to play with on top of your characters starting amount. I follow up with the Dig mission, since you can score Wild Aim and either a sword or some help later on in the game. After that, you and your team should be ready for most any mission - although the difficulty of some are a lot more than others - I tend to go for the laser rifle next (not an easy run), since I like to have it. Don't forget to talk to all your crew and do their side jobs - I do is0bels (just did it for the pocet clams this last time) generally after I get the rifle. From there, just have fun - I tend to RP my choices with my characters skills in mind, so if my character is a 'Bull in the China Shop', I'll do the Bad Qi run next.

I do something similar to Kightwork, except I follow the whapoan Mission with Is0bel's personal mission since it too can be completed without combat, meaning I get 9 more Karma points to play with and access to midgame tier equipment, spells, and cyberware before my characters have to face any real action.
