Help! I'm afraid to go for a Troll:(
Hey guys! I usually play RPG's with highly sociable and/or intelligent characters because they often have the means to explore more lore/story/interesting dialogs. However I like Trolls in this game and their potential as fighters from practical side. So what I wanted to ask you is will I miss on a lot of the game content is I go for a stupid uncharismatic savage cybertroll? Because I really want to but also really don't want to miss on good dialogs and stuff.

It's impossible to get all the dialogue options for any given character.

That said, a lot of the highest Int and Cha checks require investment that would be ruinous to ANY cybersoldier.
And you can do a fair number with 4-5.
I'd say go for it. If nothing else it's highly amusing to be so much larger than the rest of your party.

This is Shadowrun. If you don't test the game in various classes, you're not doing it right :gargoyle:

Most of the important dialogues can be gotten with CHA5-6. Go Adept and dip into CHA and spirit summoning for access to one of the self-buffing Totems. You'll never get any of the INT flags, but CHA isn't too difficult for most of the dialogues.

I went through with a phys adept troll with 3 charisma (just enough for a totem) and 1 intelligence. Had no problems. Most of the dialogue options are just incidental bonuses anyway. They don't offer you better options, just more of them. From a roleplaying perspective it's just as valid to play a hulking brute as it is to play a smooth talking face character. From a power or metagaming perspective it makes even less sense.
