Might not be relevent, but it might.
There are 3 different cyberwares all for body that provide +1 passive movment and 1 of thems a bioware.
The Leopard Totem Provides +1 movement.
Stride the Adept ability provides +2 passive and another +2 when activated.
THe bonded spell for stride and killing hands stacks with regular stride with an additonal +2 passive movement speed.
I assume you'd knotice if he had stride and bonded spell stride/killing hands though.
Similarly, I'm a decker (w/ cobra totem) that has skill in rifles/shotguns. I'm cybered out the gills but nothing that provides movement. He still has twice my movement range tho. at this point I think it's probably flavor, bc I share my movement range with the rest of my team (definitely racter, Gaichu has more probably because he runs at people with a sword.)
1) Is this Brent Shirkey? He should be the only mage you can hire.
2) Does he have enhanced run speed on all the missions you hire him on?
3) El Ducé has a pair of cyberlegs that let him move at crazy fast speeds. If you're seeing him with spells, that's pretty odd.
4) Gaichu runs fast because being a ghoul improves your movement speed.
2) yes.
3) If El Duce is the dude with a shotgun and machete who hates shiawase, I hired him for the underwater sea lab run bc he was free.
My run basically went like this: Did the prologue > did the underwater sea run w/ hates shiawase man (he had huge amounts of move > decided after that to hire brent shirkley for the rest of the bonus campaign. Brent had twice as much move for my entire playthrough.
