Disabled/bugged achievements?

Are they bugged or what or does using console commands or the patches disable achievements? I have killed someone with damage over time but I didn't get "Wait For It..." achievement. Then I tried out like 10 times reloading a save with mods and without mods and it looked like "Welcome to the Sixth World - Kill 20 enemies with magic spells" -achievement worked like half of the time on the vanilla one and didn't work at all on the patched version.

I had a hard time trying to pop Wait for it using different methods(cyberware claws, Gaichu's acid, etc.) it eventually popped for me when I used Gobbet's poison smoke skill to kill enemy that was on verge of death. it was weird, the achievement popped right after the initial damage.

Yeah I dunno whats up with the achievements. I restarted without any mods and they started popping normally.

Can confirm the achievements are bugged, I have 11 of them that won't pop. All but the last 30 or so hours of play have been done with a vanilla version of the game so I have no idea what does it. All I can say is keep playing and they'll pop when you're doing random stuff ingame. As an example, I popped the achievement for healing when using a Jet from my inventory weeks after I had fulfilled the requirements for the achievement.

Anyone still on in 2025 and having achievements not pop?

I installed the game on my new laptop this year after abandoning it mid-game on my old laptop for a few years. Started a new run in Easy mode because I mostly wanted to play for nostalgia and atmosphere. I thought I wasn't seeing new achievements pop because I was on Easy mode, so I tried changing to Normal and completed a new level.

Still no achievements popping up, or even an increase in the tallies as I work toward achievements. I have made sure Steam Cloud is activated, and I've tried exiting and restarting, and verifying my files multiple times.
