There is also a bounty on Ghouls for the most part, like Gaichu, but there is no way to claim your bounty beyond what you get paid for the mission.
If you let her live, you can have Gaichu teach her how to be a "better monster". You get one extra karma, are eligible for the "monster squad" achievement, and she will help you out for 4-5 combats during the end of game Walled City run against the Yama King.

It's still weird that, after I role-played it as though I wanted the bounty, my character forgot all about the bounty, to the point where I couldn't even bring it up in dialogue.
