Speed up gameplay with Unity settings
I just came back to Hong Kong (DMS - Vox Populi is great!), and I wondered once again why the game feels so slow… and why there isn't a simple setting to speed up at least the PCs.

There is! On Mac, the setting is in:
~/Library/Preferences/unity.Harebrained Schemes.SRHK.plist

For Windows and Linux, it's probably in the folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Harebrained Schemes\
~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/
(in analogy to PC Gaming Wiki - Dragonfall [pcgamingwiki.com])

In the Mac plist syntax the entries looks like that:
<key>Settings.GameSpeed</key> <integer>100</integer> . . <key>Settings.BaseActionSpeed</key> <integer>108</integer>

Just change the "100" or "108" to any value. "200" is a bit fast for me, but works fine. No issues with graphics, audio or anything so far.

I hope it works in Linux and Windows, as well.
Such a nice surprise 😸
Same should work for Dragonfall and probably Returns, too, but I haven't tested either, just found the same setting in the Dragonfall file.

[Checked again, works fine on my Mac]

On Mac and Linux, "~" stands for the home directory of the account.

On recent macOS's'es, you need to go to ~/Library or a subfolder inside in Finder or some other app to see the contents.

There are tons of tips for that online, but feel free to ask.

Back to clearing up Seattle for me 🐉

Thank you, works like a charm! Wish I knew about this sooner. Not sure about the "200" though, 130/138 seems like too accelerated at times already, 120 and 128 feels like the perfect balance
