Try rolling back to that one save that works, and push on. If you're lucky, you might dodge it happening again.
Thanks for your response anyway. I think I'm going to give up on this. Lucky for me I only paid 4.99 or something like that for it when it was on sale.
Maybe try rolling the save back before the mission, and picking another party member?
Get that's pretty extreme, though.
- I arrive at the docks and meet Duncan and forget-her-name.
- We fight some smugglers and make are way out of the harbor.
- Some guys are there waiting for us, they get shot by police sniper.
-We must escape to the sewers by fighting our way through police.
-We're in the sewers where there's nothing to do then just walk to the exit.
-Then there's the bit at the subway with the cut-scene after which Duncan always
loses all his inventory???
Missunderstood. Thought you were at a MUCH later mission.
No idea how to fix it in that case. Sorry.
i'd prolly just make sure you save often (ideally at LEAST once every new area) with manual saves (preferably new slots) and if possible brute forcing your way through or at the very least you will have a sizable amount of recovery points by the end. (which again, i emphasize new slot manual saves, just because it's just a common thread with these kind of RPGs of "better safe than sorry" with your saves.)
Hope my experience with this helps in some way.
Either your gear list file is corrupt or Duncan's instance file that calls the gear list is corrupt. Neither of which should be in your save file.
If you haven't, verify your game files via the Steam library game property window.
