Game crashes upon starting

Anybody else have issues with this game on modern hardware. Just got a new PC and yesterday it played fine and now it won't allow me to play anything, it just freezes upon startup.

My specs are
AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.70 GHz

Not that it should matter running an old game like this but not being a computer tech I have no idea, some games just seem trapped in a time period where only specific hardware can run them
