60 FPS/Unlocked Framerate

This is absolutely mandatory for a PC release in 2015. Don't be lazy. 15 FPS in battle is lower than PS1 games. Actually, it's on-par with FF9's combat framerate, which was largely its most criticized flaw - and that was nearly 15 years ago.

I don't mind FF9's framerate. In fact I think it's fine. "You're part of the problem", right? Maybe. I did play through Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth1, even though most of the battles and the fields gave me less than 30 fps. Because I liked the game enough.

How can it be unplayable? FFIV doesn't test your reaction skill or anything like that, so why do you want more fps even if you don't need it?

The only reason I wont get this is because of the 15FPS in battle, its annoying to watch. I reaaally hope they fix it. Its just lazy coding. there is no reason for this not to run at least half way smooth.

Would I like to see it run 60fps? Well yes, but it's hardly essential for me. I think FFIV runs just fine on PC. I don't even notice the 15fps battles because I'm used to the SNES version (and they did a pretty good job being faithful to the sprites).
