Is there a trick to this guy besides reflecting Mega Flare? My characters are in their 60's and I can't seem to be able to take this guy out. Is there any reference as to how many HP he has anyway?

Hi, Yes he is quite challenging. I was around level 70-71 with all my characters before I was able to defeat him. The only thing that seemed to work was to keep up reflect up with as many characters as possible while whittling his HP down. He will periodically use black hole throughout the fight(removes all status effects like reflect ) so you have to be vigilant with keeping at least one reflect up at all times. You can also throw a reflect on him to make sure he doesn't protect and shell himself. Also I remember that when he dies, he casts a final "meteor" spell...so be ready to withstand that. Oh hey, turns out the guy is easy as balls.
Used a completely different party from my main one this time around. Pretty much had everyone in the 50's with their levels. Ceodore, Cecil, Yang and Ursula just use their Band and completely destroy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ after using it 4-5 times while Leonora keeps people alive by throwing Elixers and reflecting and hasting. Easy every time.
