Questions about: Lustful Lali-Ho Magazines

1. Does these magazines do something in PC version?

2. What exactly is needed to be done to trigger the achievement for magazines? Do I need to consume them? Do I need to gather 8 magazines in my inventory? If I have missed 1 magazine in Palom's Tale, do I have to play the whole game again?

Sorry many questions but that is the last achievement that I lack.

1. It does nothing aside from making the character says "Whew".
2.a. Collect all 8 Lustful Lali-Hos.
2.b. No.
2.c. No, it still counts even after being consumed.
2.d. No, just load your completed save of Palom's Tale and go straight to the Pub to collect the magazine.

Something doesn't work ... I did Palom tale, got the magazine and saved. Then I tried new Crystals tale, but it starts with 6 magazines only, they should be 7 (8 total, 1 in Crystals).

Same happened in FF5 - I got all achievements except one that doesn't want to trigger.

Did you happen to show the magazine to Leonora? Because LLH won't be added to your inventory if you show it to Leonora.

Which achievement that failed to trigger in FFV?

Sorry for the late response! I was so disappointed to spend so many hours and not get the achievement. I didn't show the magazine to Leonora and it was added to my inventory. Thank you for your support!

The last achievement that didn't trigger in FF5 was Treasure Hunter (to open all chests).

Hmm if so, then did you select the latest save where you've picked LLH in Palom's Tale when starting a new Crystals Tale? Or you immediately clicked Start instead of Load after selecting Palom's Tale? Sometimes the game doesn't pick the latest save file from the Tales you replayed unless you specifically select it.

Select Tale -> The Crystals -> Start -> Palom's Tale -> Load -> select the latest save where you've picked LLH

If you've done so but the LLH still won't carry over, then try to finish Palom's Tale once again. IIRC you only have to finish Lodestone Cavern from that check point.

That was unfortunate. I'd get annoyed as well if the achievement won't pop up in the end. I had to follow the guide to the T to get that achievement.
