Emeralds - how to get?

Looked at wiki, apparently emeralds are a rare drop in Forest from Spider on up. Okay.

But supposedly one can also use Forest Crystals and Gold to make Emeralds?

Is that right? Because I have a load of Forest Crystals but really can't use them (other than simply selling, and that won't level my Jeweler)

A 5th level jeweler can make emeralds from forest crystals.

I use the spider, snake and boar to grind levels. After about of week of power leveling heroes on those three I have 715 forest crystals and 359 emeralds. It is cheap fast and with a little gear no down time to heal heroes. Point is I don't pay to convert to emeralds anymore. Just a tip, plus it levels the heroes fast at 10-15ish sec per trip.
