Error: "Invalid Floating Point Operation" during game execution. (Sovled)

Anyone know what might be causing this error? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Tried compatability mode, verifying game files, and checking the drive for errors. Still nothing.

Also getting the same error with Hero of the Kingdom 1

System Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: ASUS R9-290X-DC2OC-4G
16GB of RAM
2TB Hard drive

Second EDIT (2/26/2015) Downloaded update, now it's giving the same error plus "Execution track: Initializing Video". Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT 3: So I feel dumb, updated video drivers and everything works! xD Thanks for the replies.

it's not the OS, both games run fine with Win 8.1 for me

Open AMD Catalyst Control settings:

Set Anti-Aliasing to "application controlled".
