stuck 298/300 fame

I don't know where else to look. I know I missed the rum quest and I also talked to the boy. I don't know where else I can get fame after beating the game.

I was stuck on 296/300 by the end of the game and I talked to the boy as well (losing fame).

I found one more post-ending quest that gave me 5 fame.

Not sure if you've already done this one:
After the ending, launch your game again and return to the very first village where the fisherman took you and your sister in.

You will have the option to talk to the man and your sister + brother will decide to settle in the village. Your brother then tells you to give his ship to Hobson.

Once you speak with Hobson, he will give you a quest that you can complete for 5 fame.

I'm not sure if there are other post-ending quests. I did not look for any others.

An interesting fact and a maybe a little warning, is that I was able to do the last quest (with 298 stars), before the actual ending. Doing this last quest before the ending scene, did not reward me any stars at all. (Which means that I remained with 298 Stars only)

you can do it if u finished the game. after hobson, go to the "salamander village" and now you have 300 fame :)

Thank you, but unfortunately I already completed the hobson/salamander village-quest before the final part of the Game.

then dont get it and live with it. there is achievement unlocker but if you use it all your older achievements for this game will have a new unlock time, same as the achievement you unlock with it so achievementtracker sites will flag you as hacker and cheater. i could tell the name of it but iam against that hacking tool so i dont.

why bothering to post this?
i wouldn't use hacks, maybe a savegame editor or something like that, im annoyed of this kind of bug or "feature" to play the whole game and in the end you can't get the 2 missing fame points, its ridiculous.

why bother? because you mentioned achievement unlocker aswell. sorry for answering your question and clearing up how will it do.

I had 298 stars at the end of the game. After that, i equipped the pirate ship, and Hobson became a merchant, talked with the old man, and got the brother and sister to live in the shack. (Not sure how this is better than living in the castle with your brother, but what the heck). Ended up with over 300 stars.

Even after messing up with the seamen at the port early in the game and losing a few points, you should always be at more than 305 Fame after completing all quests of the game, but it may happen after you beat the main story, no matter what, you'll get the achievement if you beat all secondary quests !
