Buying from managames website

Hi

I want to buy from managames. I have the demo right now. How big is the updates for the game? Once I purchase the key will I have to download a couple gigs worth of updates?

Also - I get 37 FPS right now. The full game has crowds, will that make my fps even lower? Thanks. I can't imagine it'd make it drop that much.

Also - is the vanilla game fun? I plan on changing the names to the real names. I don't want any mods. I don't mind playing the base game world tour.

if you already have the demo and buy from ManaGames.com, you don't need to download anything else to play the game without Mod.

37 fps is low. Do you have a decent PC ? If yes, check your power energy save mode didn't trigger.

You can disable the crowd and other stuff by pressing F9 several times.

Gameplay wise, the vanilla version is more or same than the solo Mods, but atmosphere wise, you might prefer to play with a Mod, depending on your tastes.

The game alters so much FPS wise on my PC. I just played a couple points. It goes from 37.5 fps to 50, to 60, it really varies. I just see 37 fps the most. No I have a terrible PC. I downloaded the demo yesterday just to see what would happen and I am truly amazed I'm even running the game. That is one of the reasons I am so excited to get it.

Ok, so turn off all details with the F9 key and it should be better ; if not enough, you can also set the Player details to Low in the Video options menu (do it right after the game start as it may crash if done during a match).

okay thanks, i have played with the settings. Will the crowd make my FPS drop even more? I've been playing points lately and I'm getting a way better FPS. Like 50-60 during gameplay. Maybe yesterday my PC was acting up.

If you see a lot of the crowd and your PC is really not powerful, it'll make your FPS drop ; but you can disable the crowd or lower its density if necessary.

Hey Manu,

got the game and enjoying it. But one problem.

So I win my first match in a qualifier tournament. I then am escorted back to the world tour menus, and I am trying to back out to save my game. I only see exit. Then I am at the review my opponent screen. I have to exit and lose my progress. How do I save the game? Where's the save button after a match? Please help!!! thanks

I don't understand why it did not auto save my progress.

I looked at my match log and my match is included in the log. But why did it not save in the game?

Picture this scenario.

I beat a player.

I go to the next round of the tournament and see my opponent screen. I see him and his player model and his stats on the left and right.

I then click exit and leave game.

I load game back up. I load save "K" right? I don't load save "a" which is a manual save?

If I load K will it take me back to the player screen?.

Believe it's working now. I was unaware K was an autosave. I just did a match, won, went to player screen, and autosave K loads me back to the next match. cheers!

Yes K slot is the current autosave.
It should be loaded automatically when you launch the game.

Alternatively, you can start the match, then press Escape -> Give Up -> Continue Later, and then manually save your game.

Okay Manu, everything has worked. I now load SAVE K always when I want to play a match. I am having some good times. But can you help me with 2d courts?

1. In the default game, on training ground, you can select what court you want. There are various surfaces like indoor carpet, indoor hard, clay, grass, etc.

2. If I download these courts, will it replace them? Like if I download a roland garros court, will I only see it in the Grand Slams in World Tour? Or will the roland garros court always be the clay one? so a clay qualifier match will be played on roland garros?

3. do 2D courts like that link work on the base game?

4. Will HD courts work on 1024 x 768 resolution? (yes this is what i play on, LOL) since hd courts are made for 1080p? i assume it would work

5. do mods like courts, outfits, umpire announcements, work just on base game? i can't download the maxou mod (too many gigs)


I just changed to 2d courts and my fps is near 60! No more seemingly laggy gameplay! This is awesome. thx

I hope to download courts for the various tournaments - i am scared to mod courts - i dont want to ruin my game

Yeah, I have seen that link and I think I can possibly mod it. Do you think the best strategy then would be to wait until the tournament is next, then download a court, and then remove it once the tournament is over? I wouldn't want to see R. Garros during qualifiers. Or somehow mod it to where RG court is only on RG? I think the former would be easier.

I am scared though that downloading an HD court will make the speed of the court default to zero? The base game has various court speeds.

Yes, copy & remove the .jpg file from the "Court" folder.
You'll have to copy over the 2D camera parameter from the Court.ini to the original Court.ini to preserve the original court physics (in case the Modder had changed it).

Okay thanks. I will look into that.

I don't have a folder with that name though? I go to my computer > local disk > program files > TE13 > no court folder. All i have is data, mods, profiles, doc, music, sound
