CD KEY AUTHENTICATION INVALID FOR INTERNET SERVERS?

im getting an error saying that cd key authentication is invalid for internet servers and its like cutoff or something so i could barely read it.

To delete cache make sure you turn steam off, go to your steam folder in Program Files and delete the 'appcache' folder. Restart steam. You'll have to log back into Steam! Make sure you delete the correct folder and double check your Steam is completely off!

Doesn't work... still can't connect to the server cuz it gives the same message

k, i'll try that.
Also, i found a temp solution: Switch to LAN.
(I was trying to connect to my new dedicated server but didnt work so i switched it to lan and now i can connect)
