broken mouse input under linux
the game starts fine but mouse control is totally broken (can't looks around)
so atm it is unplayable.

It's a known bug of old versions of Unity. So, you may open ~/.config/unity3d/VIS-Games/JoesDiner/prefs and change <pref name="Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode" type="int">1 to 0.
Sadly, game is not fullscreen then, but at least mouse works.

It's infuriating that the devs think it's okay to ship a broken game like this.
