Smooth Wooden Block (and why I'd love it so much)
I'd love a smooth wooden block, which is a smooth surface (physics wise) for the entire length of it. This would mean, contraptions like "The Ballista" could function far better, as they can be prone to getting caught on the blocks supporting the bolt and firing mechanism.
I imagine it'd also have many other uses, perhaps with springloaded spikes and such.

What do you mean by smooth wooden block?
What's different than the normal wooden block?

Well, I've not delved into the code of besieged yet, but from the looks of things, something in the hitboxes of the wooden blocks isn't smooth (perhaps thats intended, perhaps thats not). This would simply be a block which wouldn't have that lack of smoothness.
Thus, mechanisms where parts slide would work more reliably.

Surely you've built a ballista and noticed that using normal wooden blocks along the bottom can make it prone to self-destruction and the firing element catches and bounces off the base slightly, and occasionally completely flips.

Actually you want "no friction" wooden block isn't it ?

Guess that'd work, I was presuming it was something in the hitboxes not being square.
So yeah, a no friction / low friction wooden block. Perhaps we could call it a "polished wood block".
