What is the point of the half pipe?
Seriously. You can't place bombs, boulders or fireballs on it. Neither can you use the plow either. It's also the worst block to delete. Invariably 'x' deletes whatever block the half pipe is sitting on. I see very little use for it. It's horrible to have to fit a holder above the half pipes for them to be useful.

What I've been using it for is holding racks of bombs-- had to jerry rig it a bit tho, by building up, around, over, and then setting the bombs under THAT, but over the falf pipe, and then deleting the extra pieces.

Aside from that, I think it might be for pushing things, kind of like a bulldozer or something like that. I would like to see them allow placing bombs in them though.

I used it to fire a rock, but I needed to place that rock with a beam and then delete the beam. Would be easier if you could place ammo in it like you can with the holder thingy.

really? Plow is awesome for smashing things in front of u. If placed on a cart or something

I meant you can't use two plows in place of a half pipe. Guess I'll follow the other two posters in building scaffolds to place the bombs first.

I use my plows to make baskets and as decorative parts.

I use the half pipe to hold the bolt for my ballista

You can use it as a rail for bolts or arrows if you build a massive crossbow

I used it for a large bowling machine by placing the half pipes on hinges with a holder on a hinge at the top of the machine, i then angled the half pipes to make a decent slope for delivery of boulders and fireballs

you can put bombs in them, technically. You just need to set the beam above the pipe and place bombs against it and then delete the beam. As soon as you enable physics, the bombs will land in the pipe.

I use them every now and then on top of suspension to rest or catch catapult arms before and after firing respectively... Helps not having the catapult arm rip itself off the base or slam into a wheel base if it's mobile.

They make great Reinforced Barrels for Ballistas.

I'm having a slight issue with them. I built a reloading ballista, but 1 in 3 shots break inside the barrel, seemingly due to the beam getting caught on the seam between the two pipes.

I used it as a cage of an extending arm I made. The whole machine was more aesthetic than practical.

You need to HEAVILY brace the pieces the half pipes are attatched to, mine also had that problem.

use as a pipe line if one was to dump off some bombs behind. Using a motor can allow you to tilt it with some rigging.
