I really wish it was fixed relative to the camera position, and not... whatever thing it's doing atm that I don't understand.
However, when you play the game it isn't great experience at all! Those are two different mindsets and modes.
People saying the WASD controls are good totally are ignoring the GAME. I like the WASD keys for construction but I prefer a "gaming" camera for gameplay and using the WASD keys for movement.
Sure you can rig the controls as you like in the editor, but the camera still sucks regardless. Hoping for a fix cause even though this is a "siege" game, I spend 90% of my time flying :) And currently there is nothing you can do to orient the camera properly in that situation.
EDIT: After toying around with the camera some more its actually quite functional, but still wonky. I could see why some people prefer this style, but it would be nice to have a free camera option as well. Especially for when you are trying to build underneath vehicles.
