Camera
I dont know if its just me but controlling the camera is kinda awkward wish it was more easier to use. Or am i doing something wrong?

You might be doing it wrong :P I was too at first. Once you get to the third level, the game will give you a run down on how to use the camera better. It's really easy once you get used to it!

Maybe it's bugged at the moment ? But the center point for the camera rotation is completely baffling.
I really wish it was fixed relative to the camera position, and not... whatever thing it's doing atm that I don't understand.

Its a pain but not so bad when you get better use to it. For one remember to hit F1 when it gets crazy . 2nd remember your mouse scroll wheel with mouse center button down lets you adjust height from the mouse. That helped me greatly once I figured that out.

Click the middle mouse button on the block you want to orbit around.

^ and click the camera icon on the top right if you want to reset the cam, and make it follow your creative destruction siege weapon.

In build mode, the camera's position is based on the Center of Mass of the vehicle or until you pan around with middle mouse button or WASD.

I don't have any problem with the camera at all. Its not any different than say a 3D modeling program but I guess I could see how it might be kind of weird for some people.

camera is on a gay orbit, wish it was like a free cam like spectating in csgo or something

We're gamers not modelers. Anyone who uses WASD expects camera to move around, not zoom in or out. Isn't zooming the job of the mousewheel? Whats the point of having two different zoom? I really love the game but a simple tick option for free camera would make me actually "play" it.

when in construction mode, the camera is great (I have 15 years 3d modeling experience).

However, when you play the game it isn't great experience at all! Those are two different mindsets and modes.

People saying the WASD controls are good totally are ignoring the GAME. I like the WASD keys for construction but I prefer a "gaming" camera for gameplay and using the WASD keys for movement.

Sure you can rig the controls as you like in the editor, but the camera still sucks regardless. Hoping for a fix cause even though this is a "siege" game, I spend 90% of my time flying :) And currently there is nothing you can do to orient the camera properly in that situation.

Yeah this fixed orbit thing is basically ruining the game for me. A free camera is all i ask...

EDIT: After toying around with the camera some more its actually quite functional, but still wonky. I could see why some people prefer this style, but it would be nice to have a free camera option as well. Especially for when you are trying to build underneath vehicles.
