Make perfect spheres with the new block?

I suck at geometry, and after failed attempts at first making a half-sphere, then a quarter and finally an eighth, I was wondering if anyone found an easy way to do it yet. Has anyone seen builds that utilize the new block to make perfects balls/domes?
