Don't get me wrong though, it's an amazing game (when it works, it reminds me a lot of WIC)... but the bugs kill any amusement.
Sorry, but on Hill of Sorrow (Mission 5) where you have to hold two roads (preventing the Germans from retreating) and it crashes ALWAYS halfway through the mission. Such crap. NewYorkCheesesteak is correct on that theory. I haven't played the Germans yet, but if this is going on with the American campaign, I might as just uninstall this game and go play another title. I tried this with two different computers and the result is still the same (even on low graphics).
When such games run on modern systems they have less and less RAM available, because the devices take more and more of these 2GB.
Please try the modified executables from the other thread about out of memory, they can see and use 4GB of RAM.
You have to make sure other unnecessary software are not running because when they use part of the first 4GB of your RAM then it is not available anymore for the game. Kill unneeded processes in the task manager.
