You do this by right clicking the game in your games Library, clicking on "properties", then going to the "local files" tab, then you'll see "Verify integrity of game cache". Click it :D.
Hopefully this helps you.
(btw, this pretty much finds files that couldnt been corrupt or lost some how and reinstalls them)
Do yourselves all a HUGE favor and quit playing this steaming pile of dog crap.
There are PLENTY of alternative stock car racing games that actually allow you to paint cars the normal way (via Photoshop, etc.) and not make you spend an entire hour creating a logo you can easily get from a Google search.
This game has Cup, Trucks, and ARCA cars. It usually has anywhere from 3-5 league races running each night for the most part. They're all open for anyone to join and you just need to join the league's Teamspeak. The instructions for downloading are found on that page.
2) Free (non-Steam) - NR2003: There are some other posters around here who have posted information for downloading that game with various leagues around here. I don't have much experience with that game myself, but I have heard good things.
3) Free (non-Steam) - American Stock Car: This is basically a game similar to ASRX with a smaller community that runs races 3 nights a week (soon to be 4). It has Cup, Xfinity, Trucks, NASCAR '88, and soon to be Late Models. The biggest difference between this and ASRX is the physics and graphics. The person who created this has updated the tracks and the layouts for some are the newest you'll find for any game out there. He literally re-did Daytona with the new grandstand construction and everything. This is a Facebook/referral type of thing that I can set people up with if interested since this is a more serious racing community for this game.
4) rFactor 2 (Steam) - I've read they have started incorporating a limited number of stock cars and some more ovals tracks into their game.
5) ProjectCARS (Steam) - Again, I think they may be developing some stock car material or close to it.
6) iRacing (Steam and via iRacing website) - Of course this is the biggest of all out there, but it's ridiculously pricey in terms of buying cars, tracks, and the monthly subscription.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions or want more information for ASRX or American Stock Car. I currently run the Saturday night Truck Series league over at American Stock Car and we had our first event last night at Daytona (had 20 drivers and we were missing at least 5 or so that usually will show up). If that's something you or anyone else is interested in, I'd be more than happy to help.
