can anyone help with control setup for a novice?

You got Wheel or controller? My G920 sucks on Nascar 15! I have better luck with Xbox 360 controller. There are settings on my profile page that may or may not help you. It depends on your style of driving for sure on that game. Both Wheel and Xbox controller settings are there,scroll down thru the Snapshots.

make sure you callibrate your wheel correctly. if it is offset you have no control
