"Game not released yet" error on Steam

Srsly guys, what the hell is happening? Yesterday I played without problem, now Steam says that the game is not released yet. What's happening?

I also still get the message the game will be available April 3th (Netherlands).

It has nothing to do with Steam, I've been active for 9 years on Steam. It's the game publisher who decided to change everything at the last minute, making a mess of it, and ignore any further questions asked by the players/community.

I reckon it's a bit weird once you buy a DVD from bol.com it arrives right on time.
It's bundled with 2 discs.. put it in DVD drive... and thats it !!!

We are just not able to install it, it installed on friday then started downloading the whole game again ..... WTF
So i uninstalled it via steam
Tried to reinstall it again and.... no way !

I am a bit frustrated that i did pay about 40 Euro's for this DVD and then had to deal with all this
Steam/Valve (whatever its called) crap.

I wont make that mistake again, never EVER.....

I will find another way to play this game

2 dvd's and can do nothing with it 'till next friday, worst form of DRM ever lol.

Yes i saw on wehkamp.nl release date is next weekend.. on bol.com it was .... last weekend
so wehkamp is right :)

never ever seen so much hassle/stupidity to release an average bike game i mean its not FarCry 4 or whatever

the release of this game is a MESS:)

Belgium here, same problem; release date April 3th. I was really looking forward to playing this game this weekend, but this is really annoying. I don't mind waiting couple of days extra, but the lack of info from Steam or the devs is infuriating.

we are sorry for this issue, people from Benelux (Netherland, Belgium and Luxemburg) can't play RIDE at present.

If it can be helpful, I'm from Italy but i currently live in Netherlands.
I bought and downloaded the game on friday, played for some minutes and then closed.
The day after, the message appeared.

As i said never EVER... today its working, maybe tomorrow or any other day it stops working :(
I like to choose whenever i want to play (especially when i did pay for it).
This looks like a big mess to me.
Money from me stays where it belongs !!
