Full Screen = 24fps Windowed = 60fps
I have a weird problem in this game. Here are my launcher settings:

Wait for VSync = Full Rate
Resolution = 1080p
Refresh = 60fps
Antialising = Off

Config Graphics = Medium

If I play Windowed, my fps is solid 60fps at all times. If I untick Windowed, to go full screen, my fps is locked at 24fps. I can't work out why going full screen is locking me at 24fps. vSync is set at Full Rate (not half rate)

If I set Wait for VSync = Disabled, I get 100fps or more in both Windowed and Fullscreen.

In the nVidia Control Panel I have tried setting vSync for the Ride program to On and setting vSync in the game of disabled, but that doesn't help. It is still locked to 24fps.

As I say, it's not my hardware (i7-4770K, Gefore GTX 770 2Gb and 8Gb DDR3 RAM) as I get great fps with Vsync off. I need Vsync on though to give a solid 60fps experience.

Any ideas?

Also, to those experiencing stuttering, I expect the game is using too much of your video RAM. try lowering the track side textures setting and/or unticking High Res Textures. Use GPU-Z to monitor the RAM usage of your graphics card and make sure it doesn't go too high. Also, try moving the game to an SSD if you have one.

Does no one else have this issue?

I'm getting 100fps+ maxed out on i7 4770k/gtx970, but doesnt feels so smooth. Vsync disabled. There are games with this issue unfortunately where Vsync simply doesnt work properly.

you're locked at 24 FPS because in Fullscreen mode your screen is only running at 24Hz Refresh Rate. VSync locks FPS to the Refresh Rate in this case 24.

v-sync gave me a HUGE input lag, made the game unplayable before i realised that was the cause.

I also get 24p fullscreen even tho my monitor is set at 60p and changing settings in the config does not change how aweful this game looks. I'm hoping it's a demo thing and won't look like this in full version. My PC is high end i7- 4770K, GTX 780 Ti, 32GB ram, so I know that's not the problem. I'm a biker myself, I ride a Street Triple. This game had potential but I can't play it with graphics from PS1 and laggy framerate.

wooow....dude...i have a AMD Fx 9590 (8x4.7 ghz) / Formula -Z / 16 GB DDR3 Gskill (2133 mhz) / 1000w Bequiet

I have no performance probs...stable 60 fps (1920x1080x60)
Yeah the map graphic is very terrible but the bikes are beatyfull!

Like I said nothing wrong with my set up or any other game I play. The framerate isn't that bad now I've turned v-sync off but these graphics are not acceptable in 2015.

the problem must be on your side then. I'm playing on a i5 4460 and gtx580 and I play comfortably with medium settings. The bikes and bikers look really fine, and the scenery is fine enough to look at when you're cornering with full front brake at 200kph.

Milestone, I can not look backwards. If I do this then the air resistance slows me down!

Fix this Problem!

Game works fine (Demo) but this problem sucks! since Motogp 14.

All other games I've tried run at 60fps with vsync turned on with no problems, in fullscreen, borderless window and window modes.

With vsync on in ride I get 24fps in fullscreen mode, and 60fps windowed mode.

Thanks, maybe needs a patch or something?

My career has just reset from level 12 back to 300, I still have my bikes and unused credits along with my awards, the latest of which was awarded for breaking into the top 25 World Rankings.

My game sometimes crashes back to the Steam Menu after a race has been completed and the reputation points have been awarded.

Having turned off Motion Blur and Antialiasing the game runs at 40fps on 1080P on my ATI RADEON 7880 graphic card but this drops to 25-30 FPS on some of the City tracks.
