Please try my setup in RIDE demo and see if it helps:
Acceleration Y (orange button)
Front Brake B (red button)
Steer left - POV (left low control) left
Steer right - POV right
It is sensitive but rather intuitive and understandable.
Gears for manual for me are B shift up and X shift down.
That makes better use of my right forefinger and delicate rearbreak control
But RB reserved for Chat.
Chat? that I never use !
esc, enter, en menu navigtation is not u9sefull ssigned to game controller. We can do it perfrectly fine with the keyboard!!!!
LT:Front Brake
X:Shift Up
B:Shift Down
A:Rear Brake
Tuck:Left Joystick UP
Best Setup Period.
Reason: if your late on a corner you can slam both brakes and downshift at the same time with little hand movement and have your trigger finger ready for the gas
*Rear Brake doesnt need to be on a trigger since it only gives 20-30% of the stopping power
I suggest keep the throttle and front brake on triggers and the rest whatever is easy for you
I managed to get my wheel working with Ride by mapping it to a virtual joystick.
I posted a tutorial on the MotoGP 13 forums:
