Possible fix for low fps/stuttering
I had the same problem with MotoGP 14, and the same issue with Ride. For me it was the need to have the in game monitor refresh rate matching my desktop refresh rate. For example my desktop rate is set to 120hz. The Ride game launcher I could only set to 119hz.

I edited the config file to 120hz and boom - buttery smooth fps on max settings. Might not work for everyone, but thought I would mention it here if it helps some of you out. Once you have edited the config file, make sure you make it read only otherwise the game will just revert and match the launcher settings.

If you go C:\users\*username\AppData(hidden file)\Roaming\Milestone\Ride and config is in there

I have 2 monitors. Secondary monitor support 50/59/60 and primary 59/60 but still launcher dosen't recognize 60hz mode on both monitors. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40264849/videomodes.png

Btw another thing: I would like to incrase my fov. Is it possible to change that possibly at future patches (yes this is feature request)? If you fear that people max everything and come to complain about fish eye effect it would be ok for me that option is just changeable from config file.

OK i found the solution to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coding.. the problem is the fps/vsync

i set it to 100 fps everything ran super fine... once i dipped under 100 fps the game started stuttering again.. so ultimately u have to find the highest fps u can possibly get in this game and set the refresh rate in the start up to be below ur lowest fps....

so what i did i can hit round 100 fps but sometimes it dips to 80/ 70 so i had ot set it to 60! refresh rate now it runs like butter...

btw i have a gtx 1080 and i56600k
settings are almost maxed out...

What's your monitor refresh rate set at? The config file you've posted is set for 60Hz (RefreshRate=60000). Edit the config file to match your monitor refresh rate.

my monitor is 60hz, my config is the one you see there. Still I get stuttering with an RX 590 and Ryzen 5. There must be a problem by which this game looks half as good as GRID 1, and still needs a high end PC.

This might sound odd, but give it a try: Once you're in game, Alt+Tab out and back in again. Does that improve the stuttering?
