Longest straights are on Road America, any bike will do with some weight balance. (Well ok maybe 250cc will not work xD)

That's a smooth and effortless looking wheelie! Thanks for the tips.

I'm using a 360 controller and finding it damn near impossible. I just don't seem to have the knack for pulling wheelies.

the best way I have found to do a wheelie with xbox control is to do a clutch wheelie and to do that is get a liter bike like the 2014 R1 make sure you have auto tuck set to manual and turn off trac control and wheeile control get it in third gear and get the rpms up around 7 or 8k, hold the left stick all the way back hit X to down shift on the controller and at the same time sqeeze the throttle all the way to make it pop up till it starts coming up then back off the throttle a bit to make it catch at the balance point. With a little practice you will get it. With more powerfull bikes you can do it from like 4th to 3rd or 5th to 4th but even the little KTM 300 can do it from 2nd to 1st. What you are doing is simulating a clutch dump, in real life you will be in like 3rd and squeeze the clutch rev the bike and dump the clutch to bring the bike up. So you are doing the same thing by down shifting in the game because for a moment the clutch is pulled and the rpms jump.

Thanks for the detailed method, Reaper. Much appreciated. This sounds like someting I should try as my main problem seems to be dealing with the responsiveness to the throttle in first gear.

Tbh, leave anti-wheelie on and do it.

I got the achievement at last! A 4th gear wheelie down the entire length of the Americas start/finish straight on the Yamaha R1. Thanks for all the advice, guys. Now I can focus on racing. :p
